A very brief intro to isometric design
Isometric design? That sounds boring! Well, I’m here to tell you that it’s not. Isometric design is actually a technique used a lot in technical design and the engineering world to create either awesome drawings or great prototyping of physical objects.
Isometric drawing allows you to draw in 3D. As you know, a paper has only two dimensions: height and width, but in real life we have three dimensions: height, width and depth. What isometric design does is add a third dimension to your creations; giving it volume and even more realistic look. The sides of a 3D design always have 30º angles, making it easy to have the visual effect of depth.
Isometric drawings can derive from the simplest cube to a full drawing or design of your imagination – landscapes, people, letters, or other types of complicated shapes.
Below, you will find some isometric designs for your reference. Start exploring something new. Our library of isometric vectors are pretty wide, so don’t hesitate to browse through every once in a while!
